Project: Tampa Rays Collection
The Rays are my favorite team, hands down. I was there for the first pitch ever, their first loss, their first win and everything since. The wife and I can be found at the Trop more often than not, with cowbells in hand. Now, all we need is the cards to back it up. I've been lucky to be able to pull off quite a few trades these past few months and the collection is looking good, but it could be better. My goal is to collect every single base card of every (Devil) Rays player ever printed. I also player collect, too. I want every Rays card in the blog-0-sphere, but my TOP 5 is Jonny Gomes, Jason Bartlett, Carl Crawford, Scott Kazmir and Carlos Pena. Lets trade team for team, whaddya say?
Please check out my other lists, too. I am trying to build a few sets and I have a bunch of doubles ready to trade. I also collect vintage cards, too. I am trying to get every Topps and Bowman card made of every alum of the Negro Leagues. There are a few other players I seek, too, all for different (very good) reasons. They are Curt Blefary, Roberto Clemente, Virgil Trucks, Brain Roberts, Pat Neshek, Cat Osterman, Edwin Jackson and Ian Desmond...Go Rays!
